Astrology is a tool to understand yourself better, your potential, areas of improvement while accepting things/people/situations that are not destined for your journey as the universe has a plan of its own for you – you’re born to do a certain set of things which is outlined in your horoscope. Everything that isn’t going your way is creating space for everything you need to do in this birth. As I see it, there are no good or bad horoscopes, every soul has a story. It’s about what a person chooses to see in himself and what he focuses his energies on. Astrology allows you to identify your strengths and then nurture them so as to triumph over the weaknesses and conquer the shadows of an underdeveloped self. What you happen to seek is seeking you as well.

Every soul has a unique story for the development of which it attracts some other souls like the legend has it, no meeting is a coincidence – each person we cross our paths with has a due role to play, the aftermath of which could be pleasant, transformative, healing, or challenging depending upon the Prarabdha Karma (a part of sanchita karma which has to be compulsorily experienced in one lifetime) assigned to a soul in this birth.

I have seen people, compelled to be a certain way, to behave in a particular manner owing to their planetary placements, but I have also seen the potential for refinement, for growth, and for contributing more – to their families and to the world via their being, their higher selves, the authentic selves, the conscious selves. Seeing people for what they could be if they had the courage to take an honest look at themselves and the right tool at their disposal to unveil their higher self is what got me into astrology.

For me, astrology is not predicting the future, it is to see the deeper meaning behind every planetary placement and to offer understanding and the right course of action.
